Chase was born in Fargo, N.D. and started playing hockey at the age of three in Mayville.

Chase’s accolades included winning a Bantam State Championship in 2012, and Junior Gold State Championships in 2013 and 2014. He balanced the workload of three sports and was named all-region in baseball and football while earning all-state honors in hockey.

While playing collegiate baseball and winning multiple conference titles, Chase also began his coaching career at 19, beginning with his hometown Bantam program and won state championships in 2016 and 2017 before being named head coach of the Mayville Peewee team.

In the Fall of 2018, Chase Transferred from Mayville State to the University of North Dakota where he finished his degree in Exercise Science while continuing to coach in Mayville as the assistant for the May-Port Area Boys High School Team. After one season as the assistant, Chase was named the new head coach and served at the helm for two years where he recorded two winning seasons.

Chase brings a demonstrated history of coaching, having success in both youth and high school athletics at all levels and ages. He is determined to bring the same mentality of being a leader, and role model while being knowledgeable of the game to continue the success of MAP/FHIT Hockey.
